Hey everyone! I've been using Sylvagrow compost in my containers for the past few years, but I've noticed the quality has really declined over time. It seems to hold less moisture and my plants aren't growing as robustly as they used to. I'm looking for recommendations on peat-free compost brands that consistently deliver good results. Keep in mind, I don't have a lot of space for making my own compost!

I totally get your point about space! I live in London too, and I find myself needing to buy more compost than I can produce. I have an allotment with compost heaps, but it’s just not enough to cover everything. It's a real struggle sometimes!
Bagged compost quality can really vary, can't it? I've been using New Horizon Organic and it’s been great for me. I usually mix in some blood, fish, and bone meal when I pot up plants, and they seem to thrive! Definitely worth a try if you've been having issues with your current brand.

Yeah, it's tough! I have containers at home and even with the allotment, it seems like I need to keep buying more. It feels like a never-ending cycle!
