I have a metal patio gazebo that's about 12x12 feet, and it gets a lot of sun exposure throughout the day. I'm considering adding solar panels to charge a MangoPower home battery or possibly run a micro inverter since there's an outlet nearby. Is this a bad idea? If not, what are some good mounting options for the panels? By the way, I live in northern NJ, so wind isn't really a huge concern for us.

I've got a similar setup in South Jersey where I've installed three 215-watt panels on my gazebo, and they’ve been working great for almost three years! I just secured mine with some brackets. You can see how it's done in the pic I shared; just keep in mind that it's important to ensure everything is sturdy!

Looks good! How did you attach the panels? I'm thinking about using super strong magnets, would that work?
