I recently found early signs of termite activity while checking under my deck stairs with a thermal imager. I noticed some warm spots and, upon closer inspection, discovered a small damp tunnel inside the wood. I'm reaching out for advice on effective methods to prevent termites. What treatments or habits have worked for you over the long run?

I've had to tent my house every 5 years due to termite issues. It's a pain, but I've been treating my home with DIY BoraCare lately. I've found it kills the termites, but I'm curious if it will really prevent them from coming back. My house is wood-framed and I have to deal with drywood termites here in South Florida. Fingers crossed it works!

I've heard drywood termites can be pretty elusive. How has the BoraCare been doing for you so far?
