What Are the Current Tariffs for Buying Directly from China?

I'm considering purchasing some solar equipment like panels, micro inverters, and mounting systems directly from manufacturers in China. I've heard that the tariffs can be around 60%, but it's tough to know the exact rates. Has anyone recently made similar purchases? What tariff percentages did you experience?

If you're looking at importing PV modules from China, expect to pay around 84% in tariffs – that applies no matter if you buy them from Canada, the EU, or Mexico. Plus, you'll need to ensure that all your equipment is UL certified and compliant with NEC codes, or you might have issues getting permits or connecting to the grid.

Thanks for this! I can confirm that everything I'm considering is UL listed, but it's crazy how these tariffs are making renewable energy even more expensive.

Do you happen to know what the tariff percentage is on micro inverters?
