I recently purchased the DEWALT DWV9000-XJ adapter to connect my vacuum to my random orbital sander. However, I'm not sure what hose dimensions I need. I have a Karcher vacuum and the hose does not fit onto the adapter. Am I missing something here, or am I doing it wrong? Any assistance would be appreciated!

The DEWALT DWV9000-XJ adapter threads onto a 1 1/4" vacuum hose—just to clarify, that's the diameter of the hose itself, not the end. You'll need to take off the stock end of your Karcher vacuum and then thread on the DW9000, which has reverse threads. That should help you get a proper fit!
Thanks for the tip! I did try removing the end from my Karcher vacuum, but it still wouldn't fit over any of the hoses.
