What are the risks of using a table saw blade with a negative teeth angle?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on table saw blades. I've read that blades with a positive teeth angle are better for table saws, but I'm struggling to find one that fits my dimensions. Specifically, I need a 216mm blade for cuts wider than 2.3mm because narrower cuts tend to get stuck in my riving knife. I'm curious about the disadvantages of using a blade that has a negative teeth angle. Can anyone help?

Using a blade with a negative rake angle can be risky! It tends to push the wood up and away from the table, which really increases the chance of kickback. Plus, you'll need more power to make the cuts since it's not pulling the sawdust away as effectively, making it a bit less efficient and more dangerous. Definitely something to think about if you're trying to keep your workspace safe!

Hey, what dimensions are you specifically looking for? Knowing that could help us recommend a blade that works for you!

I'm looking for a 216mm blade that'll handle cuts wider than 2.3mm, since anything narrower gets stuck in my riving knife.
