What are these green specks and white crystals on my succulent?

I've had this succulent for a few years, and I've just noticed something unusual for the first time. On the small 'babies' growing on the main stem, I've found tiny green specks that look like unmoving bugs. Now, these little ones are also covered in some white crystals. I tried scraping them off and using diatomaceous earth, but nothing seems to work. I've searched online for similar issues but couldn't find anything. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

I think you might be right about the aphids too. They can be tough to spot since they don't always move around. The white crystals could definitely come from the honeydew they leave behind. Keep an eye on them and try those suggestions!

Thanks! I appreciate your input! I'll keep monitoring the situation.

Just make sure to treat it soon so it doesn’t spread to your other plants!

It sounds like you might be dealing with aphids. Those green bugs can produce a substance called honeydew, which sometimes crystallizes and looks like those white specs you're seeing. Have you tried using any insecticidal soap or neem oil? That might help get rid of them!

I haven't used neem oil yet, but I can definitely give it a try. Thanks for the tip!

Yeah, I agree, try neem oil. It's usually pretty effective against pests like aphids!
