What Are These Openings on My Window and How Do I Keep Bees Out?

Hey everyone! I'm dealing with a bit of a bee problem near my windows. There are these small plugs or openings on the outside of the screens that bees are using to get inside. I'm not really sure what these openings are for or how to properly cover them to keep the bees out. I've added a video showing a bee entering through one and leaving pollen trails. Any advice would be super helpful!

Those openings you're seeing are actually called weep holes. They help with drainage for the windows, so it's not a good idea to plug them up. If you're concerned about bugs, you could try placing a little screen over them. I've never personally seen a bee enter through these holes, but if it's happening, you might want to look into some wasp sprays that could help deter them. Good luck!

Thanks for the info! I've got a couple of windows with both sides plugged, but it sounds like I shouldn't do that. Should I just go with one side plugged then?
