Lately, I've noticed my lilac has small droplets of liquid on its leaves and some stems. It hasn't rained for months, and there's no way water could have reached the top leaves unless it was from rain. The plant seems to be growing well, and I don't see any signs of disease or distress, plus it isn't flowering this year because I pruned it back last year. Could these droplets mean my lilac is stressed or sick?

It’s probably just some early morning dew, even if you're seeing it in the evening. Sometimes humidity can cause dew to form despite there being no recent rain. Keep an eye on it, but if the plant looks healthy otherwise, it's likely nothing to worry about.
Absolutely! My plants often get droplets at odd times, and they’re fine.
The droplets might be due to the plant's natural transpiration process. During photosynthesis, plants produce water, which travels from the roots to the leaves and evaporates. If conditions are right, it can form tiny droplets on the leaves instead of just evaporating.

Yeah, it can happen even outside of early morning. Just make sure the plant isn't looking wilted!
