Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to try my hand at growing bell peppers again this year, but honestly, I've struggled to get them to bear fruit in the past. I'd really appreciate any tips or advice on how to improve my chances with bell pepper plants. Thanks a ton!

Starting them indoors a month or even 6-8 weeks before it's warm enough outside has helped me a lot in zone 6B. Peppers take a while to fruit, so getting a good head start is crucial. Once they do start, they’ll keep producing until the frost hits. Good luck!
I started my peppers indoors in early February since I have a short growing season in Utah's zone 6B. This way, I can typically harvest by September. Also, having lots of pollinators around really helps; I plant a variety of flowers, peppers, and tomatoes!
I’m with you on the fertilizing! I give mine a heavy dose right at planting and then every four weeks until they start flowering; after that, I switch to every other week. Phosphorus and potassium are key when they’re flowering and fruiting.
True, most pepper plants are self-pollinating and don’t rely on outside pollinators, but it’s awesome to support the bee population anyway! ?

Thanks, that actually helps a lot! I think I’ll try starting them earlier this year.
