I love having a good reference book on hand, something I can flip through instead of scrolling through countless bookmarked websites. Even though there's tons of info online, I'm on the lookout for favorites among the UK gardening community. If you have any go-to books, especially for container gardening, I'd really appreciate your recommendations! I'm relatively new at this but I'm excited because I've got my own south-west facing balcony now and I'm enjoying taking care of my plants. Thanks a bunch!

If you're into vegetable gardening, 'The Allotment Month by Month' is a solid choice! It breaks down what you can plant each month, but just a heads-up, it might not cover flowers or container gardening as much. You could also check the RHS website—they probably have some great books too!

Yeah, I've noticed some older gardening books can be a bit outdated with how the weather's changing. Still, the RHS books are fresh and reliable, which is great!
