I go by "for science!" If an experiment fails, at least I learn something. Just scatter some seeds and see where they thrive. It’s really about trial and error.
I say, "Survival of the fittest!" If a plant really needs more than dirt, sunlight, and some water, it’s not meant for my garden. Also, I’m all for not buying new pots or dirt every season—let’s be smart about this!
One of my go-to mantras is "ABP - Always Be Planting." Once I embraced this mindset, succession sowing became way easier for me!

I've kept it simple with "No digging". After putting in so much work at my last rental to dig and amend soil, only to pack up unexpectedly, I now just layer cardboard and compost down and plant right on top!
