Hey everyone! I'm trying to determine the right button size for my vest. From what I've gathered, for a jacket, the button size is typically around 20mm, but I found sources suggesting anywhere from 20 to 24mm. Should I stick with 20mm? Also, I've got the following sizes for other items: sleeve buttons at 15mm and shirt buttons between 10 to 11mm. What size do you think would work best for the vest? I've been searching for answers for about an hour but haven't found much information.

For choosing the button size for your vest, a good tip is to measure the buttonhole and then pick a button that’s a bit smaller. It’s something that can depend on the specific fabric and style you’re going for, so don't stress too much. Just take the measurement and go from there!
Button sizes can definitely vary depending on a bunch of factors like fabric weight and style. I’d suggest using the ligne size for a more accurate measurement instead of just millimeters. You’ll want to keep those variables in mind to ensure a good fit!
