What can I do if my miter saw base isn’t flush?

Hey everyone! I recently got an 8 1/2 inch table saw and a 10 inch miter saw combo from Home Depot, and I've noticed that the base of my miter saw isn't flush on both sides. I really don't want to return the whole setup since taking it back would be a hassle, and I also don't have the time to make a trip to the Milwaukee service center. Is there a way for me to adjust the base myself? Any tips would be appreciated!

It sounds like you might need to tweak it a bit, but without seeing pics, it’s hard to say what exactly is going on. If you can post some photos of your setup, that would really help get better advice. Adjustments could vary based on how it's set up! Got any pics?

Check this out as well! (https://preview.redd.it/efcv6kwamm4f1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=79d0e98b35502f43f1e5c8f76da4e559c7f710a0). It shows the base from another angle.

Honestly, a drop of about 1/16th of an inch over that distance is pretty minor, roughly around 1/3 of a degree. It shouldn’t affect your cuts too much since miter saws aren't the most precise tools anyway. If it’s really bothering you, though, double-check that everything is tightened correctly; sometimes loose screws can cause that misalignment.
