Hey everyone! I've got some basil growing on my balcony, and I'm planning to trim it a bit. That means I'll have a decent amount of basil stalks with leaves. I know I can use it for seasoning, but I'm curious about what else I might do with it. Are there any other interesting uses, like making something aromatic? I would really appreciate any suggestions!

If you have enough basil, try adding it to your spaghetti sauce or toss it in a salad. A caprese salad with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes is a classic! You can also dehydrate it or infuse it in olive oil for a flavor boost.
I love making basil tea when I have a lot on hand! It's great for stress reduction and helps with digestion. Also, loose basil leaves work wonderfully in caprese salads or even sprinkled over pizza for an extra kick.
You can't go wrong with pesto! My partner and I whip up a big batch every year from our basil, and it freezes really well. Just blend it up and store it in portions for a quick meal later.
