I'm a total beginner at gardening, and the only thing I've managed to grow so far is catnip. I recently bought a standing planter box for my patio, and I'm eager to learn what fruits and vegetables I can grow in it. Ideally, I'd love to plant strawberries, but I'm unsure if that's a good choice. Since I'm located in zone 6b, I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions for the best seeds to use!

You can definitely plant strawberries in your box! They tend to do well in containers. Plus, you could also consider herbs like basil and mint, which thrive in planters. Other great options are bell peppers and romaine lettuce. They should all work well in your standing planter setup!
I just started my planter with strawberries too! Not sure yet how they'll turn out, but I've also successfully grown kale and parsley before. Good luck with your garden; it's a fun journey!
