I just harvested my potatoes and broccoli, leaving me with a couple of empty spots in my garden boxes. I'm wondering what fruits or vegetables I can plant right now in British Columbia that will yield some harvest by September or October. Any suggestions?

You might want to consider planting some lettuce, spinach, or arugula. They grow quickly and should give you a nice yield before the temperatures drop.
Don't forget about peas! They're a great option and they always seem to do well this time of year. Plus, they’re super easy to grow!
Radishes are another fast-growing option! You can plant them now and have a nice crop in no time. Snap peas and pole beans are also great alternatives if you want something a little different.
Bok Choi grows quickly and is a great choice for this time of year. You could also try fast-growing radishes or kale; it handles frost like a champ!

I've had great success with kale in the past! It’s perfect for fall.
