What Compost Bin Do You Use and Would You Recommend It?

I'm curious about the types of compost bins everyone uses. Right now, I have some plastic ones from Amazon, and while I like the wide opening and how easy it is to access the compost from the bottom, they're pretty flimsy, and after a few years, they're starting to break apart. What do you all use, and would you recommend your compost bin?

I built a double bin from old pallets, and I really recommend it if you have the space. It's sturdy and gives good airflow. Just be careful if you're dealing with pests too!

Is your setup open or sealed? I’ve had issues with rats before and had to add chicken wire to keep them out.

I've got the same plastic bins, and they're okay but definitely need some reinforcement. I started using ratchet straps to hold the joints together, and it's made a big difference. Only time will tell if it lasts!

That’s a smart idea! I’ll have to try that to extend their life a bit.
