I've been hearing a strange chirping noise in my kitchen, which measures about 15'x15'. It started yesterday and seems to be a low battery alerts, but I've checked all my smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detector from around the house – none of them are the source. I even had some neighbors come over, and we all played the guessing game of where the noise was coming from. Each time it chirped, we couldn't agree on the direction. It's really driving me nuts! Are there any other appliances or devices in a kitchen that might make this phantom chirping sound?

Could be the alarm panel! If you have a security system, those often have backup batteries that chirp when they’re low. It's worth taking a look at that as well.
I had a similar issue, and it turned out to be my smoke/CO detector in the basement. It can be tricky because sometimes the sound travels, and you might think it's coming from somewhere else. Definitely check any sensors you might have in other parts of your home!
Also, what about telco equipment for your internet or phone service? Sometimes they have a small backup battery that will chirp when it's low. Just a thought!
Have you considered that it might be your dishwasher? Mine chirps to let me know it's done, and if I leave food inside, it continues for a while. You might want to check that just in case!
