What Could Be Causing These Weird Marks on My Quartz Countertops?

I've noticed some strange spots on my quartz countertops, even though we hardly use that area. We typically clean it using just water and dish detergent, but the marks remain. Has anyone experienced this? Here are some photos: https://ibb.co/JwmtdbPQ and https://ibb.co/GQvP5mLF. Any ideas would be appreciated!

Definitely sounds like you might be dealing with a surface issue. Quartz can react to certain cleaners or heat which can create marks. If you’re not using anything abrasive, it might just be a matter of needing a deeper clean. Look into quartz-specific products to see if that clears it up!

Make sure to specify that these are quartz countertops in your kitchen. It's also important to mention that natural light can affect how these spots appear in photos. Sometimes, different sheens on the surface can create that 'hazy' look. If you see 'clear' spots in the red circles in your photos, that might be where the issue is. Keep us updated with new photos!

The pictures are a bit unclear, but it could be hard water stains or maybe something else reacting with the surface. Lighting can really mess with how it looks in photos. Have you tried a specialized cleaner for quartz? It might help. Let us know if clearer photos pop up!

Yeah, the natural light is really tricky for good pics! I’ll definitely try a specialized cleaner and post better pics if that helps.
