What Disconnect Switch Should I Use for DC with 80A Capacity?

Hey everyone! I'm curious about what kind of disconnect switches you're using for your DC systems. Currently, I have the popular IMO switch which handles up to 32A, but since I'm planning to upgrade my solar array soon, I'll need something that can handle 80A. I'm open to using a DC breaker, but it has to be IP rated for outdoor installation. Any recommendations?

I’m working on a similar project and looking at a specific model that handles up to 64A and is IP68 rated. It seems durable for outdoor use. However, just a heads up, even though it says 64A, some users have mentioned it's effectively 32A for each circuit. So definitely check the specs before purchasing!

I looked into that too, and while they promote 64A, the actual current handling is a bit misleading. It seems they just double the 32A limit.

I recently bought that same model, and it seems pretty solid! Just make sure it fits your needs.

I've got a 32A switch, but you can actually configure it to act as a 64A by connecting the two inputs and outputs together, which is pretty handy! It essentially allows you to operate two separate circuits as one, just like a dual gang switch.
