I'm looking for the name of a specific type of wall switch used for ceiling fans. It's a circular switch that you push to turn on and off, and you can turn it to adjust the fan speed. I'm having trouble finding the right term to search for a replacement.

The term you're looking for is likely a "rotary switch." You might also want to consider adding some extra keywords like "push on/off" when you search, just to narrow it down better.

It's actually called a "rotary fan speed control switch." That's pretty standard for those types of fans.

You could also look up "push button rotary switch" or variations of that if you're searching online.
