What Do You Power with Just a Few Solar Panels?

I'm curious to know if anyone here has installed a small solar setup with just a few panels. A neighbor of mine started with three and eventually expanded to six, but I'm not really sure how much they utilize it beyond some minor appliances. If you've done a small self-install, could you share what you're powering and how much it cost you?

I've got a setup with two 240-watt panels and then later added six 100-watt panels to power my upright freezer; it runs 24/7 at about 110 watts. It was quite the learning experience! I also installed an automatic transfer switch to go between my solar panels and the grid depending on the battery charge. So far, it's been working well for me!

That's awesome! Which ATS are you using? I'm also trying to find a good one for my shed and haven't had much luck.
