I'm curious about people's opinions on the Bolt safety system. If anyone's using it, could you share your setup and experiences?

I've been through a lot of DIY projects lately with tools like drills and angle grinders. Wearing all that PPE was such a hassle—it's a juggling act with the respirator, safety glasses, face shield, and ear muffs, plus I couldn't even wear my headlamp properly with the face shield on. So, I decided to go with the Milwaukee BOLT Front Brim Safety Helmet, which has an IMPACT ARMOR liner. I also picked up the Bolt earmuffs and headlamp, and I'm just waiting on a sale for the Bolt face shield. It's been a game changer for me; I can’t wait for my upcoming demo projects!
I've got the helmet along with goggles, and they seem good so far, but I haven't used them extensively. I mainly bought them for emergencies, so I'm hoping I won't need to put them to the test.
What's the Bolt system exactly? I think it's a type of safety helmet system, but I'm still figuring it out. I've got a helmet and earmuffs from them myself, but I haven't had a chance to really test them out yet. Still, I like what I've seen so far!
Yeah, it's basically a modular system for safety gear. I have the helmet too and while I can't comment on its long-term comfort, it seems well made. I got mine for my safety kit for tornadoes; hopefully, I won’t need it!

That helmet sounds like a solid choice! I was looking at those too. I've got a range of tasks from wood cutting to lawn mowing, so the versatility of the helmet with attachments seems really useful. Plus, those cooling inserts they offer could be great for hot days!
