I'm really curious to hear everyone's opinions on the new m18 Surge 1/4 driver. I'm looking to upgrade since I'm replacing my old 20v Dewalt drill and shifting away from Dewalt tools. Has anyone tried it yet? What are the reviews like?

I recently got some of the hydraulic Dewalts, but I'm not sure how they'll compare to the new Surge. They seem nice, but after selling a couple to dive into Milwaukee tools, I'm fully committed to the Milwaukee battery platform now. Might give the Dewalt hydraulic a shot if I wasn't so invested in Milwaukee!
Honestly, I'm also hoping for a new m12 Surge. The m18 line keeps getting updated, and it feels like the m12 drills are falling behind. What gives? They should give the m12 some love too!
Totally agree! The m12 models could really use an upgrade. I'm tired of waiting for updates when the m18 is getting all the action.
The Dewalt hydraulic impact looks pretty cool! But yeah, once you're into the Milwaukee ecosystem, it’s hard to switch back.
