When you think about tools, whether they're handtools or power tools, which one do you believe has had the biggest impact or is the best ever created? I'd love to hear everyone's opinions!

I think the transistor deserves a shoutout. It’s the backbone of modern technology and has completely changed how we build devices and communicate. Without it, everything we know about electronics would be so different!

If we focus on woodworking, it’s tough to choose just one. I’d say the axe is key. Felling trees is fundamental and this tool is like a cornerstone of early civilization. Axes go way back and were essential for creating all the other tools we use now.

Totally agree! Without the axe, we wouldn't have so many other tools. It's amazing how something so simple paved the way for so much innovation.

I’d have to go with the Fein oscillating multitool. Sure, there are probably more crucial tools out there, but this one really shines when it comes to making minor fixes and tweaks that would otherwise turn into major headaches.
