I recently placed an online order with Home Depot and returned the item within a week. While I had my order number and used my Home Depot credit card, I noticed that I didn't receive the full amount I originally paid back. My receipt mentioned "Cash," but I didn't actually get any cash back. I'm wondering if this was a mistake on their part or what that term means in this context. Any insights would be helpful!

From my experience, when I returned something using a debit card, the refund went straight back to the card. The "Cash" note usually just means that's how it’s processed, even if you didn’t get actual cash. Just hang on to your receipt and check your bank statement; it should show up soon!
Did you mean to attach a picture of the receipt? That might make things clearer if you're confused about the refund. Sometimes receipts can be hard to interpret without that visual.
Yeah, I wanted to share it but got blocked by karma points. Sorry about that!

Yeah, I kept my receipt too, and it took a few days, but it all worked out in the end.
