Hey everyone! I'm just starting out with gardening and living in a small apartment without a patio. I do have some big windows that let in plenty of light, but I'm curious about what kinds of edible plants I can grow inside? I'd love any tips or suggestions. Thanks a lot!

You can grow lots of plants, even in a small apartment. Options include lettuce, microgreens, and herbs like mint and chives. Just make sure to keep an eye on how much sunlight you’re getting—indoor fruits and plants like tomatoes can need a lot more care and light. Also, be careful with indoor plants as some can release pollen that might not be great for your health.
You might want to look into growing towers! They’re a great way to save space and can work with soil or hydroponics. Just make sure they rotate so all sides face the windows. Once you get started, you might find yourself growing a ton of herbs and greens. Hydroponics can be really easy, and you get perfect nutrients for your plants. Have fun with it! ?
Do you have a favorite growing tower you'd recommend?
You can definitely grow a variety of things indoors. I’ve been successful with arugula, and I have my plants facing southeast for the best light. If you’re looking for more ideas, a lot of different herbs can thrive inside, like ginger, strawberries, and even small citrus trees. Just be cautious about light levels; some may need a grow light for optimal results!
I’m a big fan of arugula! How do I even get started with that?

Wait, you can grow bananas and chocolate? How do you start with those? I’m in Atlanta too!
