What Essential Accessories Should I Get for My New Track Saw?

Hey folks! After thinking about it for years, I finally bought the Festool TSC 55 K track saw, and I'm really excited to start using it. I'm getting the tracks today, but there's a ton of accessories out there and my budget is tight. Can you all share which accessories you think are essential based on your experiences? What should I prioritize?

I’ve been using the Kreg ACS table as a workstation for my track saw, and it's awesome! It’s like a budget-friendly version of Festool's MFT table but offers some cool features like hinged rails and sliding stops for precise cuts. I didn’t buy Kreg’s stand since I made my own rolling storage, and it works like a charm!

You should definitely check out accessories from Seneca and TSO. Their parallel guides are fantastic, and I've found them better than the Festool ones. The guide rail square is an absolute must-have for me; it's incredibly useful when crosscutting wide panels!

I agree with you on the guide rail square! It makes everything so much easier and precise.

100% support the TSO guide rail square, it’s really a game changer!

The Festool accessory kit can be a good deal too! It comes with an adjustable angle guide, clamps, and connectors for when you get that bigger 55” rail. Totally worth considering if you need a variety of tools right away.

If you're worried about budget, I’d suggest looking into Makita’s rails. They're cheaper and compatible with Festool saws. Also, Toolcurve has some cool 3D printed accessories that are super affordable; I picked up their router guide rail adapter, and it works great!

Skip out on Festool's rail clamps. I found Bessey ones to be way more user-friendly; they stay in place and can double as squeeze clamps after you’re done cutting. Plus, they’re cheaper and available on Amazon if you can't find them locally.
