What flowers can I plant in the gaps between my paving slabs?

Hey everyone! I have a 3x3 arrangement of paving slabs with a path made of slabs running off it that's about 7 slabs long. There are gaps between the slabs that are around 4-5 cm wide, and I'd love to plant something nice there. I'm thinking of leaning into this idea—maybe even encouraging some moss? What do you think would work well in those gaps? Thanks for any suggestions!

You might also look into Campanula. There are varieties that could work well in your garden setup!

Thanks for the suggestion! I found some varieties on the RHS site that look perfect for a small gravel area near my patio.

Forget-me-nots, lobelia, and erigeron are all great choices to consider for those gaps! They’ll add a nice touch of color and attract pollinators too.

You might want to try planting Erigeron kavinskianus; it's a beautiful option for the edges of paving and looks great along steps!

Thyme is another excellent option for gaps like these. It's hardy and gives off a nice fragrance when walked on!
