I'm totally new to gardening but just revived my hanging basket, and I loved it! I've got this small sunny patch in my garden in Surrey that I'd like to fill with flowers or shrubs. I'm looking for low-maintenance plants that are friendly for beginners. It would be great to have some that bloom throughout the year along with some that return next year. I'm also open to seasonal flowers for a fresh look. Any advice or resources would be greatly appreciated!

It’s often tricky to plan for a garden that looks good year-round, but a mix of spring bulbs (like tulips or daffodils) and summer blooms could do the trick.
