I'm looking for some great woodworking projects to work on with my grandpa. He's super healthy and has a lot of energy for an 84-year-old! I usually only see him a couple of times a year, but I want to make the most of our time together. I'm a beginner with woodworking but have enjoyed some small projects. My grandpa is really skilled at it, so I know he'll have lots of ideas. I'd love any suggestions you might have for fun activities we can tackle together. Thanks in advance!

You could also make birdhouses! They're excellent beginner projects and can often be designed to be useful for the birds in your area. Plus, you and your grandpa can have fun personalizing them together.
Birdhouses are a great idea! I love those.
Start with some small boxes! They can be really fun and surprisingly intricate. Once you get the hang of it, you can move on to more elaborate projects like a chest or even some cutting boards for your family. Just check out some images online for inspiration!
Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely look those up.
It’s awesome that you want to spend more time with your grandpa! A great idea would be to simply ask him to teach you. He’ll probably love sharing his woodworking knowledge with you! Plus, it’s a wonderful bonding experience.
I'm definitely planning to do that!
That sounds perfect, he’ll be thrilled!

That sounds like a lot of fun, thanks!
