I'm curious to hear about any gardening slip-ups you've had this year and what you've learned from them. For me, being my first year gardening, I've realized I need to do the Chelsea chop or better support for my Heleniums next year. They ended up leaning way too much and don't look so great. What about you?

Oof, my heleniums didn’t stand a chance against those molluscs. At least you're doing better than I am!
I learned the hard way that I should've overseeded my lawn in either spring or autumn. I also need to decide on my fruits and veggies a lot earlier and plan out where to plant my trees ahead of time. I definitely left everything too late this year!
I totally forgot to net my cabbage, sprouts, and greens, and those pesky white butterflies took their sweet time visiting! It's a lesson I'll be sure to remember for next year.

Same here! I really need to get my overseeding done in autumn. ?
