What Gardening Zone Are You In and How’s Your Garden Doing?

Hey everyone! I'm in gardening zone 6b and we just passed our last frost date. I've had some plants growing since late March, but I'm still waiting on my cucumbers and tomatoes to show up. My broccoli looks kinda weird but healthy overall, and my spring onions are thriving. However, I'm not seeing any flowers on my tomatoes or cucumbers yet. I've seen posts from others with amazing yields already, which has me wondering—does the zone matter, or am I just missing something in my gardening routine?

I'm in zone 6b too, and I’m pretty sure it’s still early for tomatoes! We just had frost like a day ago, so don’t stress if your plants are lagging. They're likely just waking up!

Phew, I thought I was behind! Glad to know I’m not the only one waiting.

Right? It’s like we’re all running on a similar gardening timeline!

For cucumbers, try starting them indoors on a heat mat with lights. They really like that extra warmth! And don’t expect flowers on tomatoes until late July or August, so hang in there!

Yep, it's definitely a zone thing! I’m in zone 8A and my tomatoes and peppers are just tiny right now. I've already harvested peas, carrots, and some lettuce, but I'm looking at my garden like it’s still a waiting game! Happy planting!
