I'm curious to know about your experiences with houseplants. What's one plant that you tried to keep but ultimately decided you'll never grow again? What made you come to that conclusion?

I've tried growing ferns and it's a no-go for me. My cats just can’t resist them, which is hilarious but also frustrating. I've also had no luck with Pileas; I can’t keep them alive more than one watering!
For me, it's definitely the Croton. I had it for a while, but it ended up getting spider mites and spreading them to my other plants. It was such a hassle and honestly, I'm mentally scarred from that experience. Nope, never again with Croton!
I feel you! Those pests can be such a nightmare. Sometimes it's just not worth the trouble.
Monstera Deliciosa is off my list too. I've gone through at least a dozen; they just never seem to thrive for me anymore. Ended up tossing my last two, but I still hold onto my Albo and Thai Constellation because I'm still kinda attached to them.
Sometimes you just gotta let go and focus on what thrives! I totally get it.

That's so relatable! It’s like the cats become your plant's worst enemy.
