What Indoor Plants Can Survive in Low Light?

Hey everyone! I'm diving into indoor gardening, but I've got a bit of a challenge: my place doesn't get much sunlight. I'm on the hunt for plants that can thrive (or at least survive) in low light conditions. What are your recommendations? I'd love to hear about your personal experiences and success stories! Thanks a ton!

If you really want your plants to flourish, consider grabbing some grow lights. With the right lighting, almost any plant can thrive in your space!

In my experience, there are definitely some plants that adapt well to low light! I've had good success with jewel orchids, Hoya polyneura, heart leaf philodendron, and Hoya mathilde—all of these have done well for me in darker corners!

While no plants truly thrive without light, there are a few that can hold their own in lower light conditions. I've had luck with ZZ plants, Ficus benjamina, and even pothos—though they do need some light to stay healthy! Just keep that in mind when choosing!

You're right that all plants need some light. If you can't get natural light, either try to place them right by a window or invest in some grow lights. I've seen both make a huge difference!

I've been keeping an umbrella plant for years, and it's been perfect in low light! It grows taller and has this cool woody look that makes it feel like I have a little indoor tree. It also fills up space nicely!
