Hey everyone! I've been hearing a lot about Square Foot Gardening lately but I'm not completely sure what it is or how it works. Can someone explain the concept behind it and maybe share some tips for getting started?

Square Foot Gardening is basically a gardening method where you divide your garden into smaller squares and plant different crops in each square. It’s super efficient and great for smaller spaces! You can easily plan out your crop rotation and maximize yield without needing a ton of space. To get started, grab some lumber to make your boxes, fill them with a mix of soil, and just lay out a grid. It’s definitely beginner-friendly!
I've found Square Foot Gardening to be a game-changer! The key is to really plan out what you want to grow. Use the square footage wisely; for example, you can fit a few carrots in one square and a couple of tomato plants in another. Just remember to consider each plant's growth habits. Happy gardening!

Totally agree! It’s also awesome for keeping weeds down since you’re utilizing the space fully. You can plant more in less space and make use of vertical gardening too!
