I'm checking out a new apartment and noticed some brown goo stuck to the wall between the wall and a cabinet. The handyman mentioned it might be wallpaper glue. Since the previous tenants have been living there for over 30 years and there's wallpaper that was painted over poorly, I wanted to verify if that's really the case or if there's something else going on.
