Hey everyone! I could really use your advice on stapling Romex 14/2 cables to some wall studs. I'm looking for a good staple gun, but I'm totally lost with all the different sizes, types, and brands out there. What do you recommend I use?

Check out the Milwaukee Romex Stapler with the right rubber-coated staples. Here's a link: [Milwaukee Cable Stapler](https://www.acmetools.com/milwaukee-m12-cable-stapler-bare-tool-2448-20/045242571680.html). Just make sure not to overdrive the staples when using it!
For most DIY jobs, you might find a power stapler to be a bit excessive. It’s fast and easy to just use half-inch plastic staples and a hammer. Trust me, it’ll save you time and hassle!
Try searching for 'nm cable staples' instead of 'romex staples.' The 'nm' stands for 'non-metallic,' which refers to the type of sheath you're working with. It should help you find what you need more easily!
If you're looking for a tool, check out the Klein Tools Loose Cable Stapler. It’s around $40 at Home Depot and does a good job for tasks like this.
I'd suggest going for a hammer and Romex staples instead of a staple gun. Those guns often don’t get the staples tight enough, especially if you're aiming for clean runs. Plus, using a hammer and staples is usually going to be a lot cheaper, and it gets the job done just fine!
Absolutely agree! Plus, a hammer gives you more control over how snug the staples are.

Which staples specifically do you mean? I’ve been searching for ‘romex staples’ but I'm seeing tons of types and sizes like T50 and MS-500J, which is so confusing!
