I recently started renovating my new condo and found this unusual outlet. My contractor seems puzzled as well and hasn't seen anything like it before. Does anyone know what this is for? Check out the picture here: https://imgur.com/a/34k47Gi.

It’s actually an indoor termination point for your fiber internet connection. You’ll want to keep it as it's essential for your internet setup.
That's probably a fiber connection for your local internet provider. Just leave it as is, you might need it later!
That looks like a fiber optic cable for broadband! It's likely used for high-speed internet. Definitely a good thing to keep around if you're getting internet service.
Thanks for clarifying! I wasn't sure if I should remove it or not.

Got it, thanks for the advice! I’ll make sure not to touch it.
