What Kind of Ladder Should I Use for Cleaning Gutters Without Damaging Them?

I recently upgraded my gutters, and now the spot where I used to place my telescoping ladder is obstructed by the new installation. I really want to avoid leaning the ladder against the new gutters to prevent damage. What's a good type of ladder I should consider to safely access the roof for cleaning, perhaps a ladder with a standoff?

You might want to go for an extension ladder combined with a standoff or stabilizer. If your gutters aren't overly high and you have flat ground, a step-ladder could also work well. Just be sure whatever you choose keeps you clear of those gutters!

If the ground's flat and you're working around 10 feet up, either option should work just fine. Just be cautious!
