What Low-Cost Home Items Should I Buy Before My Mom Retires?

Hey everyone! My mom is retiring soon from a national distributor known for providing a ton of home materials like electrical parts, HVAC systems, plumbing supplies, and a lot more. She can buy things at cost for our family, and I'm wondering if there are specific items I should consider purchasing before she wraps up her job at the end of April. We've done some big renovations like our kitchen recently, but we don't have any major projects on the horizon. Any suggestions for practical items that could be useful down the line?

I think it's best to buy what you actually need rather than just grabbing stuff because it's cheap. If there's something you know you'll use, like a water heater or necessary fixtures, then go for it! But don't stock up on items you won't realistically need; it can clutter your space and cost you more in the long run.

I get where you're coming from, but sometimes buying at a huge discount can change the game, especially for big-ticket items like water heaters. It’s definitely worth considering! You just need to weigh your options.
