What Makes a Laundry Basket Worth Keeping for the Long Haul?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some genuine opinions on laundry baskets—they seem to break all too easily! Handles snap off, bottoms end up cracking, and it feels like I'm buying a new one every year or two. I'm trying to figure out what features or qualities actually make a laundry basket worth keeping for life. Have any of you had one last you ages, or had one fall apart? I'd love to get your experiences. It's for a quick 2-minute anonymous survey—no signup required, just real insights from folks who know the struggle of carrying wet towels up the stairs. Thanks a ton for your help!

I’ve had a collapsible laundry basket from Bed Bath and Beyond for years, and it’s been great! It has rubber handles that make it feel sturdy, but also easy to store when I'm not using it. I feel like those features have really helped it hold up over time.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people rave about those collapsible ones lately! What do you think made it feel so solid for you? Was it the rubber handles or the frame?

One option to consider is a milk crate! They’re super durable, and it feels like they’re built to last forever. Plus, they have that classic design that you can't beat. Maybe we could even modernize the shape with better handles—or just stick with the good old milk crate!

Absolutely! The milk crate is definitely a strong contender. If we could just make it more comfortable to carry, it would be perfect.

This whole thing seems a bit strange, don't you think? Like, who even asks for market research on laundry baskets? And did they really leave that 'insert link here' part in their post? Sounds a bit off!

Haha, right? It seems like they didn’t even proofread before posting! Makes you wonder who’s actually behind this survey.
