I've noticed that Hoyas, with their long, somewhat awkward-looking leaves, seem to be a hot commodity in my local plant groups. I honestly don't get the hype! Can someone explain what makes these plants so appealing? They don't strike me as visually appealing, even when they're healthy. I'd love to be educated on this!

One of the big draws for Hoyas is their flowers! For example, my Hoya Carnosa has been blooming nonstop all summer, and the flowers are actually beautiful. They can be a bit leggy in their growth, but those blooms are definitely a highlight for many enthusiasts!
I get where you’re coming from; Hoyas can look a bit needy sometimes! But honestly, a lot of people appreciate the unique textures and shapes of their leaves. Plus, they're quite hardy and can thrive in various conditions, which makes them fun to have around!
