Hey everyone! I'm trying to figure out the material of this ceiling square I found after dealing with a leak. I had to remove a tile to fix the issue, and now I want to replace it. I've attached a link to an image of the tile. Any guesses on what it's made of? Thanks!

Definitely wood fiber! If you’re looking to replace it, just make sure to find something that matches.
I think those are paper tiles. I have the same ones in my cabin, and they work pretty well for ceilings.
It looks like it's probably made from pressed and treated wood pulp or paper. If you know how old those tiles are, that might help narrow it down.

I’m not sure how old they are ?. I just pulled it out to fix the leak and now I’m stuck replacing the damaged ones instead of redoing the whole ceiling.
