I've been working on some auto projects and so far, I've picked up a few Milwaukee tools: the M18 High Torque Wrench (2967-20), the M18 Mid Torque Wrench (2962-20), and the M12 Ratchet (2457-20). Now, I'm looking for recommendations on drill drivers, preferably M18. Also, are there any other must-have tools that you think I should consider for both auto and home projects?

If you're looking for compact tools, the M12 Fuel Drill with a high-capacity battery can polish an entire car. Plus, the M12 Rotary Tool (Dremel) is invaluable for small tasks where a larger grinder wouldn't fit.
Don't forget the 3/8" Gen 2 M12 Impact Wrench to complete your collection! The ratchet you have saved me a ton, and pairing it with a high torque wrench is super useful. The M12 or M18 Rover Light is great for visibility, and the M18 Packout Fan is a lifesaver when you’re sweating over a job in hot weather.
For a mix of home and auto projects, you should definitely check out the M12 Fuel Impact Driver and Hammer Drill, plus the M12 Fuel 1/2” Impact Wrench. For woodwork or metalwork, the M18 Circular Saw is a solid choice. Don't forget a good set of hand tools, maybe hand tools from Craftsman instead of Milwaukee—they last a long time!
As an auto hobbyist, I'd recommend the M12 Right Angle Die Grinder, but make sure to use it with a 2.5 or 5.0 battery for best performance. For home use, M12 versions of the 1/4” hex drive impact and fuel drill are compact and perfect. The M12 Stubby Impact is fantastic! If you need a grinder, a corded one from Harbor Freight is often a better deal unless you are set on cordless.

Definitely go for the Gen 2 Right Angle Die Grinder. The first version can shut off under light loads, which can be quite frustrating.
