Hey everyone! I'm looking to tackle a few home improvement projects like mounting mini blinds, doing light auto mechanic work, drilling small holes in aluminum sheet metal, and building a shed and deck. I've never used Milwaukee tools before, and while I'd like to get tools that won't drive me crazy when they malfunction, I'm not sure if I'll use them enough to justify the cost. I was thinking about starting with the M12 Fuel Drill and Impact, and possibly the M12 ratchet. Any suggestions on what tools I should definitely consider or avoid?

I totally get the concern about tool frustration! I've got the M12 Fuel Drill and Impact, and they work like a charm. Honestly, this line is great—both M12 and M18 have served me well. The M12 ratchet is fantastic for tight spaces too, so I’d say go for it! Just keep in mind that every tool can fail at some point, but these are pretty reliable.
