Hey everyone! I have two cats and I'm looking for a list of plants that are safe for them to nibble on without any harm. Does anyone have recommendations or resources?

Definitely avoid true lilies and sago palms; those can be really toxic. Other plants might just cause some digestive issues but aren’t life-threatening. I also grow cat grass for my kitty to munch on, which keeps him away from my other plants! It's all about knowing your cats' personalities and keeping them occupied with safe options.

Great advice, thank you!

You can check out the ASPCA's plant list for cats—it’s super helpful! Spider plants are a great choice since they’re safe and easy to care for. Money trees and certain types of palms are also safe for your furry friends!

It really depends on your cats! I've had good luck with Monstera plants because they’re not super harmful and have a taste that most cats don’t like. Just keep an eye on them; some cats might still enjoy the experience a little too much. Also, be careful with snake plants, as they can be hard to chew but still toxic. Ponytail palms look cute, but my cats always chew on those! You’ll have to figure out what your cats like best while avoiding anything too toxic.

Wow, that’s really helpful! I’ll have to keep that in mind.
