I just set up some corner shelves in my shower and I'm eager to add some plants for a touch of greenery. However, since my bathroom has no windows, I'm worried about the lack of sunlight. Plus, the plants would be directly in the shower, getting water sprayed on them regularly. Are there any plants that can thrive in these conditions, or is there a way to manage this?

Honestly, it's tough to find plants that can thrive without light. You could consider rotating plants in and out—keep them in a well-lit area for a few days, then back to the shower. I've learned from my dad, who has a knack for plants, that they can survive some time in the dark if they’re well taken care of during their light days. Plus, it'll keep them vibrant!
One great idea is to hang some dried eucalyptus. Not only does it deliver that leafy look, but when you shower, it releases lovely essential oils which give your bathroom a spa-like vibe!
While it seems ideal to have plants in there, it's a bit of a gamble. Most plants, even those like ferns, just won’t last long in complete darkness. If you're keen on having something alive, maybe opt for a nice faux plant. They'll look great without the upkeep!
