I have this tub of water, roughly the size of a toilet tank, where I collect excess moisture from my air conditioning. I'm wondering if there are any plants that could thrive in conditions that involve high humidity, low light, and being submerged in this tub. Just a note, the water is from my A/C—definitely not fit for drinking! If there aren't any suitable plants, that's totally fine; I'm just curious because I love keeping plants and I seem to generate a lot of this A/C water.

I think the temperature of the water is a key factor! If it’s cold—and it sounds like it might be from your A/C—certain plants may struggle. Keeping the water consistent in temperature is crucial for the plants’ health. You might want to consider some hardy aquatic plants that can tolerate those cooler temps!
Also, where you live can influence your options! Since you're in Southern Iowa, you might want to explore plants that do well in cooler regions and then thrive in humid conditions. Maybe check out some varieties of ferns? They often do well in high humidity and indirect light.
Definitely! I’ve had good luck with ferns in similar conditions. They seem to soak up the humidity without too much fuss.

That's a good point! Have you thought about water lettuce or other similar plants? They can adapt! I have a few in my pond and they seem to love the humidity.
